In April 0f 2012 my husband and I lost twin boys at 18 weeks due to incompetent cervix. In the middle of May I got together with my friend Brandi of crochetlove to be my partner in a journey to heal my heart and comfort other Angel Parents.
Our mission is to provide comfort and hope to families that have suffered the loss of a baby or babies born too soon or born still. We will provide the family a crocheted hat, diaper, and blanket at no charge. Each family will be given two sets, one for their baby to wear while in the hospital and one for them to be laid to rest in. The set the baby wears in the hospital is to be given to the family to place in their memory box, the other set is to be worn by the precious angel when they are laid to rest. Often there aren't any clothes that will fit babies who are born premature. We hope these sets can enhance photo opportunities and provide comfort to parents knowing their baby has something to keep them warm after their son(s) or daughter(s) leave the warmth of their arms. Our sets will accommodate infants from 0-4lbs (around 18-32 weeks gestation).
